MOVING INSURANCE

is Your personal items are covered to a limited extent under Streamline's company insurance plan, it is included with every move we do. It is incorporated into the price of your move, and covers you from the moment we arrive at your home, until the moment the truck pulls away from your new residence. However, Please note, that Streamline Movers is not an insurance agent, our minimal coverage plans are designed to compliment, not replace, your existing coverage.

You should always contact your insurance agent before relocation, and ask if your existing policy covers "Goods in Transit".

With Basic Cargo Insurance our liability is $0.60 per pound per article up to a maximum of $150,000. For example if something weighings 100 pounds has a value of $60

Full Coverage

We offer full coverage for a rate of 10% of the declared value of the cargo being shipped. The declared value iswill to be estimated by our clients and documented prior the actual move date. The minimum amount of coverage starts at $200. In the rare case of breakage there is a deductable of $250 for any claims there will be an adjuster to who will come out and estimate the value of the Iitem damaged. This will be the replacement value and not the value of the item when brand new.

Items that are not covered:
There are instances a few items that damaged effects will not be covered by Streamline Movers. For any items in boxes that are packed by the owner, Streamline has no liability whatsoever. For coverage on these items a Streamline professional will have to pack these for you to ensure their protection. In addition to self packed boxes the following items are also excluded:
